Lia Garcia, artista y gerente de la cooperativa: “Es una casa que es de los artistas, es decir que esta casa no es de ninguno en particular, ósea nadie puede venderla. Y yo creo que eso ha sido el excito que nosotros pertenecemos en el tiempo.” / Lia Garcia, artist and cooperative’s supervisor: “It is a house for artists, meaning that this house does not belong to anyone, I mean nobody can sell it. And I think that this has been the reason why we are thriving until today.”

“Nosotros nos mantenemos gracias a los arriendos que son muy bajitos […] nos ayudamos también con convocatorias de tipo gubernamental, distrital y gracias a eso podemos hacer diferentes cosas.” / “We keep up thanks to the studios rentals but that are below the market fees […] and we also apply for government or district subsidies and thanks to that we can create various activities.”

“Tenemos dos maneras [para ser parte de la cooperativa]: la primera es a través de la renta de los talleres […], la segunda es a través de un programa de residencias artísticas que creamos en 2010, se llama PRAC, y otorgamos becas.” / “There are two ways [to be part of the cooperative]: the first one is by renting a workspace […], the second one is with our artistic program created in 2010, named PRAC, through which we grant scholarships.”
